In-Person Event | New York City
Fall/Winter 2022 – Date TBD
Rates of anxiety have skyrocketed across the country over the last two years. The pandemic, civil unrest, an uncertain economy, and the precarity of our very democracy have all contributed to elevated levels of stress. COVID-19 alone was responsible for a 25% increase in anxiety and depression across the globe, according to the World Health Organization. Elevated levels of anxiety, stress, and depression don’t just affect people on an individual and personal level. These negative mental health outcomes can also have repercussions in the workplace and on whole communities.
NationSwell, in collaboration with Educational Alliance, invites you to a dinner and dialogue hosted by Educational Alliance President and CEO Alan van Capelle to explore this troubling trend. Attendees will examine how both their own anxiety affects them personally but also impacts their leadership capabilities. They will also explore ways to manage this anxiety, with the goal of creating a safer and more inclusive environment that contributes to lower levels of stress and anxiety.
This dinner is designed to spark moments of inspiration; to help you to open your field of view; and to fill up your cup with warm conversation and connection. We hope to see you there.
