Due in large part to the pandemic, environmental inequities, and inflation, the last few years have seen an already persistent racial wealth gap grow even more extreme. Leaders across sectors are examining the role and responsibility they have to play in shrinking that gap, particularly as the looming threat of a recession threatens to present a host of new challenges for marginalized communities and people of color. 

During this NationSwell Leader Roundtable, we’ll hear from a powerful group of cross-sector leaders on the work they’re doing across business, philanthropy, finance and government to level the playing field and increase access to capital, with a particular eye towards uncovering some of the most promising initiatives, investments, and potential collaborations.

Institutional Members or senior colleagues working in DEIB or interested in how businesses, philanthropies, and investment firms can play a role in making the world more equitable and just are all welcome to attend. Together, we’ll discuss the actionable steps businesses can take to increase the flow of capital to POC-owned businesses, reduce systemic lender bias, and create a more egalitarian future for all.
