The leaders at the helm of today’s impact organizations are being asked to contend with two very different versions of reality: the physical, “real world,” in which we live, and the virtual, online world where so much of our work, connection, and communication is increasingly taking place. 

The newness of hybrid and remote work have prompted a string of urgent questions for leaders: How can we recenter things like connectedness, community, and partnership in a way that accounts for our new definitions of proximity and closeness? Do the traditional metrics for success still make sense, or should we be retraining our focus on a broader set of outcomes? And, above all else: What is the right way to work for social impact organizations, nonprofits, and social enterprises in 2023? 

Join us for a pragmatic conversation on what we’re seeing, learning, and trying as we attempt to lead both online and offline in our own organizations. Together, we’ll piece together a composite sketch of what our peer leaders are piloting as they reimagine what inclusive leadership can look like in a new hybrid workforce.

This is the first event in a virtual series focused on reimagining leadership in a hybrid workforce. Our goal is to carve out virtual space for connection, support, and shared learning for any leaders of nonprofits, businesses, social enterprises, and communities who are navigating the new landscape that is hybrid work.
