About
In 2026, political, legal, and cultural forces continue to evolve—reshaping how organizations across sectors approach their social impact work. Federal actions, market dynamics, and shifting public sentiment are creating an increasingly complex environment that challenges leaders to adapt and respond with clarity and courage. Across corporate, financial, philanthropic, and nonprofit institutions, approaches to DEI and social impact strategy are diverging: some are scaling back in response to external pressures, while others are reaffirming these commitments as core to their mission and identity.
As Black women in senior leadership at the forefront of this work, it remains essential to have a trusted space to connect with peers who understand the distinct challenges and responsibilities of leading social impact efforts in this evolving landscape.
To encourage open and candid discussion, this event follows the Chatham House Rule – attendees may share insights from the conversation but cannot attribute statements to specific individuals or organizations. This ensures a trusted space for thoughtful dialogue and deeper insights.
NationSwell’s events and experiences are designed to bring together diverse, purpose-driven leaders and organizations for learning, inspiration, relationship-building, and societal impact.
