About

Techbridge Girls’ Belonging Blueprint Roundtable convenes leaders in STEM education and careers to reframe the conversation around diversity in STEM: From representation to creating a sense of belonging.

The Belonging Blueprint offers three advocacy solutions that aim to create inclusive and supportive STEM education spaces for Black, Indigenous, and Latina girls – calling for intersectional and nuanced data, funding that is designed for and with the  girls to authentically meet their unique needs, and for culturally relevant STEM spaces where the girls can show up as their full, authentic selves.

This event will create space for deep, honest conversation about cracks in the pipeline that cause girls of color to fall out before persisting into STEM careers, and propose solutions to create STEM spaces where Black, Indigenous, and Latina girls feel like they truly belong and can thrive.
