About
Seattle’s nonprofit sector is under growing strain as public dollars shrink and community needs intensify. While philanthropy and corporate funders are deeply invested in the city’s future, efforts often remain fragmented—limiting the sector’s ability to respond with resilience and scale.
This convening brings together a small, cross-sector group of senior leaders from philanthropy, business, and community to explore what it would look like to make a joint commitment to strengthening and sustaining Seattle’s nonprofit ecosystem.
The session is designed as a candid, collaborative conversation to:
- Ground in the current grantee landscape and nonprofit infrastructure needs.
- Surface overlaps in funding priorities and identify opportunities for shared support.
- Explore how pooled investment, coordinated strategies, and resource sharing could unlock outsized impact.
- Begin to envision what success could look like if Seattle funders aligned around a collective commitment to a vibrant, resilient nonprofit sector.
To encourage open and candid discussion, this event follows the Chatham House Rule – attendees may share insights from the conversation but cannot attribute statements to specific individuals or organizations. This ensures a trusted space for thoughtful dialogue and deeper insights.
