RESCHEDULED, Date and Location TBD

Thank you for your interest in Building Impact: Cross-Sector Collaboration for Education, Bay Area. Unfortunately, this event is being rescheduled. Look out for updated information soon!

About

The nation’s education system has faced problems of inequity since its inception, and the current issues plaguing the K-12 public system were recently exacerbated by the pandemic. We now find ourselves at a crossroads with a unique opportunity to reshape this system and create a more equitable and effective education landscape.

NationSwell invites you to a Salon discussion hosted by Council member Ali Medina, Executive Director The Oakland Public Education Fund, to discuss some of the most exciting, cutting edge, and effective approaches to developing a more equitable & effective education system. Ali will be joined by fellow Council member Patrice Berry, Co-Founder of Assist Hub and an Executive Advisor in the Office of Oakland Mayor Libby Schaaf, as we explore how cross-sector collaboration can benefit our schools and examine the practices, tools, and resources that are already helping communities thrive.

This participatory discussion is for SF members and guests who want to invest in building stronger, more equitable communities, parents, and cross-sector leaders.
