In California and beyond\, wages have stagnated while inflation continues to rise\, making incomes that once put workers squarely in the middle class in a position of economic precarity. At the same time\, wealth continues to accumulate at record levels among the top 1%\, while ordinary residents struggle through the pandemic\, prepare for a recession\, and worry about social and economic strife.  \nJoin NationSwell and Council member host Autumn McDonald for an informative and engaging dinner conversation where we will tackle questions of how we can interrogate and reimagine the American Dream and create an inclusive and equity-driven society and economy that works for all. In order to keep everyone safe\, we require proof of full vaccination from everyone in attendance at the event. Fully vaccinated is defined as at least 14 days after receiving the final vaccine in a one- or two-shot protocol with a vaccine approved by the FDA or WHO (including emergency use authorization).
