These Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”) are entered into by and between NationSwell, hereinafter referred to as the “Organization,” and the participant, hereinafter referred to as the “Attendee.”
Registration and Attendance
- Registration is required for guaranteed admittance to the event, and all attendees must provide accurate and complete information.
- Attendees must comply with rules, policies, and any other requirements specified for an event set forth by the Organization, Venue, and local, state, and federal regulations.
- The Organization reserves the right to refuse or cancel registrations without providing a reason.
- In-person event attendance is subject to venue capacity and safety regulations.
- Virtual event access will be provided to registered attendees via specified online platforms.
- The Organization reserves the right to modify or cancel events due to unforeseen circumstances.
Code of Conduct
- All attendees, whether in-person or virtual, are expected to behave respectfully towards others, fostering a safe and inclusive environment.
- Harassment, discrimination, or any form of offensive behavior will not be tolerated and may result in immediate removal from the event.
- Attendees must adhere to the event’s policies and instructions provided by the Organization.
Recording and Photography Waiver
- In-Person Events
- Attendees consent and acknowledge that the Organization, its employees, affiliates, agents, and partners have the right to take still photographs, audio recordings, and/or video recordings at events for any legal purpose.
- By participating, attendees grant the Organization the right to use images, recordings, or likenesses for promotional and educational purposes.
- Virtual Events
- Attendees consent and acknowledge that virtual events may be recorded for archival purposes.
- Recorded content will not be distributed by the Organization unless explicitly stated or advertised as being available for distribution to the NationSwell community post-event.
AI Notetakers
- The Organization may use third-party AI notetakers during events for transcription and note-taking purposes.
- Attendees’ verbal contributions may be captured by third-party AI notetakers for the purpose of creating event summaries or transcripts.
Changes and Cancellations
- The Organization reserves the right to make changes to the event at the discretion of the Organization, including but not limited to the schedule, speakers, or format, as necessary.
- In the event of cancellation or rescheduling, the Organization will make reasonable efforts to notify attendees and provide appropriate alternatives or refunds, where applicable.
- The Organization is not responsible for any additional costs incurred by the attendee.
Liability and Privacy
- Attendees participate in the event at their own risk. The Organization will not be held liable for any injury, loss, or damage to personal property.
- For virtual events, attendees are responsible for ensuring their own technical capabilities and internet connectivity.
- The Organization may collect and process personal information provided during registration for the purpose of managing the event.
- By attending the event, attendees consent to the Organization’s use of their personal information in accordance with applicable privacy laws and the event’s privacy policy.
Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of New York. By registering for and participating in events organized by NationSwell, attendees agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions. The Organization reserves the right to refuse or revoke event registration for individuals not complying with these terms.
By attending or registering for the event, all participants acknowledge and agree to abide by these terms and conditions. The Organization reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time, as well as enforce these terms and conditions and take appropriate action against any violation.
