While men have recouped most lost jobs\, women – especially BIPOC women – have been forced out due to exacerbated systemic inequities and underfunding for the care economy. Meanwhile\, only 6% of American companies offer their employees child care benefits. \nThis backdrop sits at a time of immense social change\, disruption\, and possibility. The changes in work and working styles\, expectations of employers\, and a commitment to DEIB present a window of opportunity for businesses to not only actively support the re-entry of women in the workforce\, but also to accelerate the advancement of workers with families and usher in a broader commitment for gender equity.Join us for a 90-minute working group\, convening leaders to surface effective solutions\, understand barriers\, catalyze partnerships\, & share cross-sector knowledge to build the business case for supporting dual-working moms – those who work both in the home & in the workforce. \nThis working group is part of a NationSwell Collaborative project with American Family Insurance Institute for Corporate & Social Impact\, Annie E.
