About
AI is emerging as one of the most consequential drivers of economic growth in a generation—but its promise won’t be realized automatically. Evidence increasingly points to a story of transformation rather than displacement: most jobs will change, few will disappear, and the workers and companies who adapt fastest stand to gain the most.
Google.org’s Digital Futures Project was built to help leaders navigate exactly this transition, grounding hard conversations in evidence. Join Google.org and NationSwell for an intimate Signature Dinner exploring how leaders can turn AI’s potential into broad-based productivity and opportunity. We’ll dig into where the real gains are showing up—from accelerated task completion to closing skills gaps between employees—and what it takes to convert those early signals into durable, organization-wide impact. Central to that conversation is workforce readiness: the reskilling, redesigned workflows, and cultural shifts that determine whether AI becomes a genuine engine of augmentation or a missed opportunity.
Over dinner, we’ll bring together senior leaders to trade perspectives on what’s working, where the biggest barriers to adoption remain, and how to build a workforce strategy that treats AI investment and people investment as two halves of the same equation.
To encourage open and candid discussion, this event follows the Chatham House Rule – attendees may share insights from the conversation but cannot attribute statements to specific individuals or organizations. This ensures a trusted space for thoughtful dialogue and deeper insights.
