Renegotiating the Social Contract Roundtable
Virtual Roundtable
Tuesday, October 24, 2023
4:00pm – 5:00pm ET
About
A social contract outlines the rights and duties of individuals within a society. In America, our constitution explicitly defines some of these rights, while others, more implicit, evolve over time. As we navigate a period of rapid technological and societal change, it is important to examine and understand the current state of our societal ties. How has American society, our government, our relationships with each other, and our responsibilities as citizens changed over time? What are we excited about? What are we concerned about?
Â
Join us as we learn from the work of fellow leaders and discuss the current state of our social contract: what’s working in our society, what’s not, and how we might steer towards a brighter future for all.
