Employers are moving toward skills-based employee engagement as an important component of both talent and impact strategies. Outside of critical mentorship and coaching roles, many professionals find that their expertise is best deployed in an impact partner’s back office to improve accounting or communications.

There are greater opportunities for skills-based employee engagement with talent development organizations to identify and address skills gaps across a range of job families. In this session, we will explore strategies that strengthen talent pipelines, enhance employee experience, and deliver results for business and communities.

This session is part 3 of a 3-event series called Impact X Talent, cohosted by NationSwell and the International Youth Foundation. The series is exploring scalable and sustainable workforce development strategies that create shared value for businesses and communities. The ultimate goals of the series are to:

1. Develop a playbook of case studies featuring firms that have aligned impact strategies to talent challenges at the firm and sector level; and
2. Identify opportunities for joint action to move the needle on shared workforce challenges.
