About
Despite historic investments in workforce development, America’s talent marketplace remains deeply fragmented – employers can’t find the skilled workers they need, while millions of workers remain underemployed or left out of opportunity altogether.
This NationSwell roundtable will bring together leaders from business, philanthropy, education, and policy to explore how we can better align the disparate pieces of the workforce ecosystem. Together, we’ll surface promising models – from regional collaboratives to new “backbone” organizations – that are bridging the gap between training supply and employer demand, and driving real results for workers, businesses, and communities alike.
To encourage open and candid discussion, this event follows the Chatham House Rule – attendees may share insights from the conversation but cannot attribute statements to specific individuals or organizations. This ensures a trusted space for thoughtful dialogue and deeper insights.
NationSwell’s events and experiences are designed to bring together diverse, purpose-driven leaders and organizations for learning, inspiration, relationship-building, and societal impact.
