About
Across the impact field, more organizations are consolidating sustainability and social impact under a single leader. With that consolidation comes a real operating question: how do two historically distinct bodies of work, often with different owners, metrics, and ways of engaging the business, function as one integrated team rather than two functions sharing a reporting line?
Join NationSwell for an intimate braintrust convening peers who have navigated—or are currently navigating—this transition. Together, we’ll explore how leaders are rethinking accountability and ownership as sustainability goals move from being centrally executed to being embedded across business units and leadership teams; how they’re integrating teams, talent, and workstreams that may have built up their own cultures and cadences; and how they’re building durable models designed to hold up over time, not just react to immediate pressure.
This will be a space to compare notes on what’s working, surface open questions, and think together about what durable integration actually requires.
NationSwell’s Virtual Roundtables and Braintrusts are built for members who are actively working on the issue at hand — including senior leaders, practitioners, and subject-matter experts — making them our most accessible format. The bar for the room isn’t seniority; it’s engagement with the topic. Registration may involve a brief approval step to ensure the conversation stays high-quality.
To encourage open and candid discussion, this event follows the Chatham House Rule – attendees may share insights from the conversation but cannot attribute statements to specific individuals or organizations. This ensures a trusted space for thoughtful dialogue and deeper insights.
NationSwell’s events and experiences are designed to bring together diverse, purpose-driven leaders and organizations for learning, inspiration, relationship-building, and societal impact.
